London based songbird Obenewa, takes some time away from duties providing backing vocals for Rosie Lowe and chart topper Plan B and finally steps back into the light. After a small hiatus following her 2011 “Once upon a Time…” EP, she adds her luscious tones to production provided by Ninja Tune lads Raffertie & Walter Ego, and delivers a mesmerizing effort in the shape of “He”. We’re rather excited about what she has in store beyond this point, and we’ve already had first ears on a forthcoming collaborative effort with our very own AKS. Brilliant times ahead.
