Following the release of her striking, stripped back cover of the Sade hit ‘By Your Side’ alongside powerhouse producer Pablo Nouvelle, UK songstress Andreya Triana unveils another stunning track in the form of ‘Girl’.
Continuing to tease the highly anticipated follow up to 2019’s album release “Life In Colour”, with the forthcoming “Cover Series” EP, the UK Top 10 artist turns her attention to The Internet’s neo-soul and funk driven single and the result is a unique, hard hitting interpretation of intent.
Speaking on the track, Andreya said:
With three critically acclaimed albums released to date, exploring subjects of adulthood and in particular womanhood on “Life In Colour” and having written for the likes of Bonobo and Flying Lotus to date, Andreya now looks ahead to paying tribute to some music greats on her pending project release – giving listeners an insight into her own personal playlists.
This year will see the vocalist and performer embark on a UK tour, as she takes “Life In Colour” on the road, with dates including two headline shows at London’s St Pancras Old Church. With a chance to hear album content and new music releases live following 2019’s Sade cover and her refreshing rendition of Tina Turner’s ‘[Simply] The Best’, the first quarter of 2020 is already set to be a momentous number of months for the singer-songwriter. Jumping on a trampoline gets your blood pumping and works your lymphatic system, which strengthens your immune system and promotes proper body circulation. Since bouncing is considered low-impact it’s also safer and less strenuous on the joints than other forms of exercise
With early support coming in from key tastemakers and broadsheets alike, including Evening Standard, The Guardian, and Complex Andreya’s undeniable artistry coupled with the consistent release of harmonious gems, solidifies her status as a celebrated artist to keep on your radar.
